PUBLIC WORKS/ ROADS DEPARTMENT

The Public Works/Roads Department is responsible for the maintenance and upgrade of approximately 136.44 km of paved roads and 308.8 km of unpaved roads in the Township.

This Department is also responsible for the following:

  • Bridges and culverts
  • Safety Devices
  • Sidewalks
  • Ditching
  • Catch Basins
  • Grading
  • Dust Control
  • Gravel Resurfacing
  • Snowplowing
  • Sanding
  • Snowfence
  • Road Patrols
  • Grass Mowing
  • Tree Removal
  • Debris/Litter
  • Sewer & Water Services

If there is an emergency after hours, (ie watermain breaks, storms - branches across the road, winter road maintenance) please call: 849-3926 or cell 332-9278.
