Effective April 1, 2021, the current yard waste and brush collection sites located at the Watford Arena and on Warwick Village Road will be closed.
The current collection sites no longer meet environmental best practices, have experienced a high volume of contamination and are continually used by persons who do not reside in our community. Further, future planned development in area surrounding the arena creates a conflict with the use of this space for the purposes of yard waste and brush collection.

Location: 61 Centennial Avenue, Watford, Ontario

Warwick Council Approves 2021 Budget

Warwick Council approved the 2021 Budget at the Special Council meeting on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 that will see a 2.5% tax increase (or $11.02 per $100,000 of residential assessment) on the municipal portion of taxes for property owners.
The 2.5% tax increase will result in $62,500 new municipal revenue for the Township in 2021. This tax increase is driven by operational cost increases agreed to in previous years and significant insurance rate increases.
