NOTICE OF PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE
CONCERNING PROPOSED OFFICIAL PLAN AMENDMENT
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Warwick will hold a Public Open House on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 6:00-8:00p.m. upstairs at the Watford Arena to consider proposed Official Plan Amendments under Section 21 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended. The Open House is being held pursuant to Section 17 of the Planning Act.
THE PROPOSED OFFICIAL PLAN AMENDMENT would add a policy to the Agricultural Area Policies of the Official Plan that would revise land use policies by allowing the creation of rural residential lots for dwellings rendered surplus as a result of farm consolidation.
THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT of the proposed Open House is to provide an informal opportunity to obtain information, ask questions, or make comments regarding the proposed Official Plan Amendment.
NO KEY MAP has been provided as the Official Plan affects all lands within the Township of Warwick.
ANY PERSON may attend the Open House and/or make written or verbal representation in either support of, or in opposition to, the proposed Official Plan Amendment.
WRITTEN SUBMISSIONS in respect of the proposed Official Plan Amendment can be made to the Administrator-Treasurer of the Township of Warwick.
IF A PERSON OR PUBLIC BODY does not make oral submissions at the Open House or make written submissions to the Township of Warwick before the proposed Official Plan is adopted; the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of Council or of the County of Lambton, as the Approval Authority, to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal.
IF A PERSON OR PUBLIC BODY does not make oral submissions at the Open House or make written submissions to the Township of Warwick before the proposed Official Plan is adopted, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION, will be available for public inspection during regular office hours at the Municipal Offices at 6332 Nauvoo Rd, R.R.#8, Watford and at the Open House.
