Birth, Death, and Marriage Certificates |
Visit the Service Ontario website or the Government of Ontario website to apply online for the following certificates, and to obtain information to questions you may have about the online certificate application process:
Service Ontario issues these certificates. You can apply for these certificates after the event has been registered by the Office of the Registrar General in Thunder Bay. Paper copies of the application forms are also available from the Clerk's Department at 5280 Nauvoo Road, Watford, ON N0M 2S0. |
Building Permit Application |
The County of Lambton issues Building Permits on behalf of the the Township of Warwick. Please refer to the building and plumbing permit page for details on building and plumbing permit applications. |
Burn Permit |
If you are burning anything on your property, contact the local Fire Chief to get a Burn Permit and/or approval. Burn Permits are not required for campfires. There is no cost associated with these permits. Contact your local Fire Chief before burning:

Consent (Severance) Application |

Demolition Permit |
A Demolition Permit is required for the demolition of any structure within the Township of Warwick. The County of Lambton issues these permits for the Township. After the demolition is complete, you must submit a Section 357/358 Form to the Township Office. Contact the Building Services Department at the County of Lambton by calling 519-845-5420 or 1-866-324-6912 with any questions regarding Demolition Permits. |
Dog License |

Entrance and Culvert Permit |
An Entrance Permit is required for the construction or modification of any entrance to a Township road including residential, commercial, and public entrances. Submit your application to the Township of Warwick with the fee for review and approval. A cost of $150.00, payable to the Township of Warwick, is due upon issuance and before the work has begun. |
Lottery License |

Minor Variance Application |

Moving and Oversize Hauling Permit |
A Moving and Oversize Hauling Permit is required for the transportation of goods not conforming to the standards detailed in the Highway Traffic Act. The permit is valid only on those highways under the jurisdiction of the Township of Warwick. Submit your application to the Township of Warwick with the fee ($400.00) and refundable security deposit ($11,000.00). The security deposit will be returned to the applicant, without interest, once the work has been complete and all necessary restoration is complete. |

Parking Permit |
Overnight parking from November 15th to April 15th, each year, is not permitted. Parked vehicles without a permit will receive a ticket. You may purchase residential, on-street parking permits at the Township Office, 5280 Nauvoo Road during regular office hours (Monday through Friday from 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m.). These permits have a cost of $50.00. |
Plumbing Permit |

Repair or Maintenance to a Municipal Drain |
Municipal drains are a very important part of storm water management for the rural and urban areas of our Township. They help to preserve and maintain a healthy environment for agricultural regions. No alteration of a municipal drain can take place without the prior approval of the Drainage Superintendent. Requests for drainage improvements and maintenance should be directed to the Drainage Superintendent by email or by phone at 226-848-3926. Speak with the Drainage Superintendent, fill out one of the forms below, and return it to the Township Office, 5280 Nauvoo Road, during regular office hours (Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.). |
Road Occupancy Permit |
A Road Occupancy Permit is required when any work is completed in a Township of Warwick road allowance or boulevard. If you are restoring the boulevard, installing or removing infrastructure, or disturbing the boulevard in any way, please contact the Township to apply for a permit. Submit your application to the Township of Warwick with the fee ($150.00) and refundable security deposit ($2,500.00). The security deposit will be returned to the applicant, without interest, once the work has been complete and all necessary restoration is complete. |
Septic Permit |
Rural area residents renovating or building a septic system must call the County of Lambton at 519-845-5420 for any questions regarding their existing septic system or the requirements to put in a new septic system. The County of Lambton issues Septic Permits for the Township of Warwick. |
