Sports and Recreation Programming 

The Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to offer a variety of recreational and leisure programs for Warwick Township residents and surrounding community members. Below is a listing of current recreational programs (dates and times are subject to change). A full program schedule is available for viewing on our events calendar page. 

Everyone Plays Recreation Fee Assistance Program 

The Everyone Plays program has been established to support Warwick Township residents and families, to enable access to participate in recreation and leisure programming. This Initiative provides recreation program fee assistance for eligible individuals and families, allowing increased access to Township led recreation & leisure programs and services, regardless of financial situation.

Summer Art Classes 

The Township of Warwick Parks and Recreation Department is offering Summer Art Classes in Warwick Village. Register today for one or all four of our classes today! Classes open to all ages and abilities. 

 

Cost: $50.00 for 4 classes or $15.00 per class 

Location: Warwick Committee Centre 7074 Egremont Rd Warwick Village

Warwick Youth Baseball 2025

 Join us at the Warwick Ball Diamond for Warwick youth Baseball Summer 2025. This program will include progressive instructional sessions focusing on the fundamentals of baseball! Including hitting, catching, throwing, fielding, and game play. 

 

$50.00/ 8 weeks of instruction and a t-shirt. 

 

Registration is open below. Click on the age group you would like to register for. Please fill out a form for each child. 

 

Ages 4-5yrs Tuesdays from 6-7p.m. Starting July 8 - August 26, 2025 

Ages 6-8yrs Tuesdays from 7-8p.m. Starting July 8- August 26, 2025

Community Park Clean Up Day - 2025

Let's engage and encourage getting outdoors through active participation and clean up our Parks! Join the Parks and Recreation Department on April 26, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the East Lambton Community Complex. Register with the Parks and Recreation Department by phone at 519-876-2808 or by email.

June is Parks and Recreation Month! Access to parks and recreation is a fundamental human need that helps foster personal health, strong communities, and social inclusions. JRPM celebrates parks and recreation services and raises awareness for the role they play as a pathway to individual, community, and environmental well-being.

Open Play Adult Pickleball 

Join us at the East Lambton Community Complex Lambton Mutual Gymnasium for Open Play Adult Pickleball. 

  • Mondays from 6:30-8:30p.m. (April 28 - September 8, 2025)
  • Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 
  • Fridays from 6:30 -8:30 p.m. (May 2- September 8, 2025) 

 

PROGRAM NOTICE 

Friday night indoor pickleball starting July 4-September 5, 2025 will run 4:45-6:45p.m.

Shuffle Up and Deal 

Join us on Mondays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the East Lambton Community Complex Community Meeting Room for cards. There is a cost of $3.00 per person and the money received from the program goes directly into supporting the Shuffle Up and Deal Program. 

 

Shuffle Up and Deal does not take place on Holidays.

Canada Day 2025 

Wear your red and white and celebrate Canada Day on June 28, 2025 at Centennial Park in Watford. 

 

Celebrations start at 11a.m.and go till 2p.m. Activities include inflatables, face painting and much more ! Free hot dogs and cupcakes to ring in the celebrations.

 Game ON! Youth After School Drop-in Sessions. 

Join us at the East Lambton Community Complex on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30p.m. for Game ON- Youth After School Drop-in sessions. 

 

This program is designed for youth grades 3-8 to drop in and play a multitude of sports including basketball, pickleball, badminton, volleyball and much more. 

 

Program will finish June 18, 2025 for the 2024-2025 school year. Returning in the fall of 2025.

East Lambton Community Complex - Lambton Mutual Gymnasium Program Schedule

Drop-in basketball is from 6:00 to 7:45 p.m. Indoor shoes only, please. There is limited equipment available.

Warwick Badminton 

Join us for Warwick Badminton on Tuesday evenings. Drop in and have a smashing good time! There is limited equipment available. Indoor shoes only, please. Final date is April 15, 2025. 

  • Youth (ages 6 to 12 years) from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. 
  • Ages 13+ from 7:00 to 9:00p.m.

Warwick Volleyball League 
There is an Adult Recreational Volleyball League on Thursdays from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. Registration is required. For more information, visit the Warwick Volleyball website. If you have any questions regarding the season or registration, please reach out to the Warwick Volleyball League by email.
  • Registration is available online.
Walk with Warwick 

Join us this fall and winter for Walk with Warwick. Indoor shoes only, please. 

  • Monday and Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. 
  • Wednesdays from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
