Sports and Recreation Programming
The Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to offer a variety of recreational and leisure programs for Warwick Township residents and surrounding community members. Below is a listing of current recreational programs (dates and times are subject to change). A full program schedule is available for viewing on our events calendar page.
East Lambton Community Complex and Warwick Community Centre Spring and Summer Programs and Outdoor Activities
Warwick Youth Baseball 2025 |
Join us at the Warwick Ball Diamond for Warwick youth Baseball Summer 2025. This program will include progressive instructional sessions focusing on the fundamentals of baseball! Including hitting, catching, throwing, fielding, and game play.
$50.00/ 8 weeks of instruction and a t-shirt.
Registration is open below. Click on the age group you would like to register for. Please fill out a form for each child.

Youth Ball Hockey Spring 2025 |
Join us at the East Lambton Community Complex- Optimist Ice Surface for Youth Ball Hockey spring 2025.
Ages 7-11 yrs Mondays from 6-7p.m. Starting April 28- June 9, 2025 ** Excluding Holiday Mondays
Registration Fee: $45.00 per player.
All Participants must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet and provide their own stick. Participants will be assigned teams based on age and ability. The program goal is to provide equal opportunity to all players.

Youth Cooking Class- Watford 2025 |
Thank you to all that joined us along side the East Lambton YMCA and Homestead Soups, Sweets and Savouries for Watford youth cooking.

Youth Cooking Class - Warwick 2025 |
Join the Township of Warwick Parks and Recreation Department along side Homestead Soups, Sweets and Savouries for youth cooking. Youth Cooking taking place at the Warwick Community Centre.
Cost: $50.00/for 3 weeks

Community Park Clean Up Day - 2025 |
Let's engage and encourage getting outdoors through active participation and clean up our Parks! Join the Parks and Recreation Department on April 26, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the East Lambton Community Complex. June is Parks and Recreation Month! Access to parks and recreation is a fundamental human need that helps foster personal health, strong communities, and social inclusions. JRPM celebrates parks and recreation services and raises awareness for the role they play as a pathway to individual, community, and environmental well-being.

Shuffle Up and Deal |
Join us on Mondays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the East Lambton Community Complex Community Meeting Room for cards. There is a cost of $3.00 per person and the money received from the program goes directly into supporting the Shuffle Up and Deal Program.
Shuffle Up and Deal does not take place on Holidays. Schedule subject to change. |

Game ON! Youth After School Drop-in Sessions. |
Join us at the East Lambton Community Complex on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30p.m. for Game ON- Youth After School Drop-in sessions.
This program is designed for youth grades 3-8 to drop in and play a multitude of sports including basketball, pickleball, badminton, volleyball and much more.
Program will finish at the end of the calendar school year for 2024-2025. Returning in the fall of 2025. Schedule subject to change. |

Drop-in basketball is from 6:00 to 7:45 p.m. Indoor shoes only, please. There is limited equipment available.

The Parks and Recreation Department looks forward to having a smashing good time on November 9, 2024 for the 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament.
The 2nd Annual Warwick Township Pickleball tournament, organized the Parks and Recreation Department, was held at the ELCC on Saturday November 9. Thank you to everyone who participated!
