Warwick Township is a strong rural community that makes up the Town of Watford, Warwick Village, and the rural areas in between. There are many things to do in the community for people of all ages. From taking a walk through the Waste Management Nature Trail, camping at the Warwick Conservation Area, to volunteering on one of the many community organizations or joining a sports group, there truly is something for everyone!
The Township of Warwick's Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to offer a variety of parks, recreation, and leisure activities to residents either free of charge and for a nominal fee. These activities and events rotate on a seasonal basis and are always listed on the Sports and Recreation page.
There are a number of annual events that take place throughout the municipality. We invite you to check out our Community Events Calendar which is a great source for details about local events and activities hosted by both the Township of Warwick, our community partners, and local organizations who wish to post their upcoming events.
At a Special Council meeting held on Thursday, September 30, 2021, Warwick Township Council accepted the Parks, Recreation, Tourism, and Culture Master Plan. This plan will guide the Township for the next 10 years.
