The Watford Santa Claus Parade takes place annually on the first Sunday in December. The 2024 Watford Santa Claus Parade is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 7th.

This year's theme is "Christmas Around the World".

Float Registration

Float categories include:

  • Business/Commercial
  • Individual
  • Service Club/Church/Non Profit
  • Youth

First, second and third place prizes will be awarded for top floats in each category. There will also be a prize for "Best Overall Theme" and "Best Towing Vehicle".

Note: 

  • Floats must be in place by 9:30 a.m. to qualify for judging.

Register your float by submitting a completed registration form and returning it in person at the Township of Warwick Municipal Office, JEGS or Watford Home Hardware or by email to uulawncareandlandscaping@gmail.com with "Christmas Parade Registration" listed in the subject line.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, December 4th, 2024.
 Parade Day Information
  • Parade lineup takes place between 8:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.
  • Float drivers are asked to pull onto Centennial Avenue from Confederation Line to the front of the East Lambton Community Complex (61 Centennial Ave., Watford) where they will be directed to their float’s location by a parade convenor.
  • Floats must be in place by 9:30 a.m. to qualify for judging.
  • Parade Start Time: 10:00 a.m.
